My name is Margaret Tom and I am a certified Realtor with Berkshire Hathaway Home Services California Properties. I specialize in residential and commercial estates in the San Gabriel Valley. So far, I have received the following awards: Rising Star, President's Circle (top 3%), Leading Edge (top 8%) and Honors Society. I am married with 2 boys: Matthew, a USC graduate and is in Risk Advisory at Deloitte while Aexander is a sophomore at USC. My husband, Ed Tom is the Vice President of Investments with UBS.

I graduated with a Masters in Business Administration in Finance from California State University, Los Angeles. In addition, I obtained a Bachelor of Science from the University of Alabama and was placed on the Dean's and President's Lists. My second major was International Marketing.

My family was featured in HGTV's Television Show, "Designer's Challenge" and also in the book, "The Best of Designer's Challenge." Our home was also featured on "Vivid Magazine," August 2006. In addition, I was featured as a socialite in the October/November 2006 issue of the said magazine.

My philosophy in life is to leave an imprint where I can finally say, "My life has made a difference." Honesty and integrity are keys to my success. Education is very important to me and so is volunteer work. I am very involved in my community. Volunteer work that I have done included: Sunday School Aide, Treasurer at Carver PTA (2003-2004), 1 st Vice President at Carver PTA (2004-2006), Fundraiser Chair at Carver PTA (2006-2007), Auditor for San Marino PTA Council (2006-2008), Treasurer for Partnership for Awareness (2007-2009), President for Carver Enrichment Fund (2008-2009), Membership Chair for Partnership for Awareness (2009-2010), Registration Chair at San Marino High School (2010-2011), Food for Volunteers Chair for San Marino High School Grad Night (2011-2013) and Health Office Chair at San Marino High School (2013). I have received the following awards: Honorary Service Award, Golden Nugget Award and Halo Award.

I love classical music and I love to cook. I am also fascinated with traveling and meeting new cultures. Above all, I am a good listener and I strive to put my clients' interests before myself.
